MTC Wins Three IAA Awards 2026 Honours for the Third Consecutive Year

Muangthai Capital Public Company Limited (MTC) has reaffirmed investment analysts' confidence by winning three honours at the IAA Awards for Listed Companies 2026: Best CEO, Best CFO and Best Investor Relations (IR) in the Finance and Securities category. This is the third consecutive year that the company has received all three awards, reflecting the capabilities of its management team, transparent business practices and effective investor communications. MTC continues to advance towards its World-class Thai Microfinance standard and support stable growth in the grassroots economy.
Mr. Parithat Phatcharachai, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Muangthai Capital Public Company Limited (MTC), said that the company received three honours from the Investment Analysts Association (IAA) at the IAA Awards for Listed Companies 2026, held at Phayathai Grand Ballroom on the sixth floor of Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai. Mr. Parithat Phatcharachai, Chairman of the Executive Committee, received Best CEO; Mr. Surat Chayaworadej, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, received Best CFO; and Mr. Krisada Kurujitkosol, Assistant Manager of Treasury and Investor Relations, received Best IR. The three awards reflect investment analysts' confidence in the company's management and operations, its good governance and its vision for sustainable economic, social and environmental growth.
This confidence is consistent with developments in MTC's financial creditworthiness, as assessed by leading international rating agencies. Moody's Ratings assigned its first long-term Corporate Family Rating (CFR) of Ba2; Fitch Ratings assigned an International Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) of BB and a National Long-Term Rating of A-(tha); and S&P Global Ratings assigned a long-term issuer credit rating of BB-. All ratings carry Stable outlooks, demonstrating assessments by three leading international rating agencies.
In addition to these credit assessments, MTC received an Excellent corporate governance assessment (five-star CG Rating), an AA assessment under SET ESG Ratings, and the Best Social Bond Thailand award at The Asset Triple A Awards for Sustainable Finance 2026. These recognitions reflect its commitment to good governance, responsible management and sustainable finance, alongside broader access to financial services.
In international cooperation, MTC participated in the IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings 2026 in Bangkok. Mr. Parithat Phatcharachai met and posed for photographs with Mr. Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group, and Mr. Sarvesh Suri, Regional Vice President for Asia and the Pacific at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). This provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with global financial organisations and connect Thai businesses with international financial institutions.
“The company continues to expand its loan portfolio in line with its business plan and advance towards the World-class Thai Microfinance standard. We focus on quality growth, prudent risk management, good corporate governance and shared value for all stakeholders, supporting funding access for individuals and entrepreneurs in different areas and contributing to stable growth in the grassroots economy,” Mr. Parithat concluded.
