MTC Targets Net Zero by 2050

Parithad Petampai, Deputy Managing Director of Muangthai Capital Public Company Limited (MTC), joined representatives of the Stock Exchange of Thailand and ERM-Siam Co., Ltd. to conclude the 2023 Climate Governance pilot project.

The project supports participating organizations in managing climate change and improving transparent disclosure by listed companies with guidance from environmental-management experts. MTC has set a goal of becoming a Net Zero organization by 2050. Embedding climate management in the company’s culture is intended to help MTC grow responsibly in the microfinance business and achieve that goal.

The event was held recently at the company’s head office.
