Muangthai Capital Public Company Limited (MTC) reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable growth and support for the Bank of Thailand's responsible and fair lending criteria, debt-resolution measures and financial discipline to improve household debt health nationwide.

Parithad Petampai, Deputy Managing Director of MTC, said the company supported the Bank of Thailand's Responsible Lending criteria and would contribute to efforts to bring household debt to an appropriate level, improve quality of life and raise the quality of financial services.

Key criteria include offering products suited to customers' needs, considering borrowers' repayment capacity, providing accurate and complete advertising and information, promoting financial discipline and improving borrower quality.

The service is intended to support responsible lending throughout the customer journey and provide close, comprehensive financial guidance.

Parithad added that MTC was committed to raising its lending services to recognised standards under good-governance principles and serving as a dependable source of finance, particularly for retail borrowers. The company prioritises integrity, respect for customer rights and protection of customer interests. MTC cited its ‘Excellent’ five-star corporate-governance rating, an A-level SET ESG Rating from the Stock Exchange of Thailand and an AA MSCI rating as evidence of responsible and fair microfinance services that support financial stability and sustainable growth alongside Thai society.
