MTC Strengthens Global Partnerships with JICA and SMBC

Muangthai Capital strengthened its global partnerships with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), which supported financing facilities totalling THB 6.2 billion.

The funding was intended to expand the company’s microfinance business and access to fair and equitable financing for underserved customers, including farmers, general workers and self-employed people. MTC set a target of supporting 400,000 retail customers while advancing sustainable growth.
