MTC Joins World Economic Forum's 2026 Summer Davos in China

Parithad Petampai, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Muangthai Capital Public Company Limited (MTC), attended the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2026, also known as Summer Davos. The meeting took place from 23 to 25 June 2026 in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China, under the theme ‘Innovating at Scale.’ Participants from government, business, academia and the next generation of entrepreneurs around the world exchanged views on the economy, investment, innovation and emerging technologies.

For MTC, the meeting provided an opportunity to follow global economic trends, financial technology and new business models. The company aims to apply what it learns to strengthen its operations, improve efficiency and provide better customer service.

The event also offered opportunities to build relationships with international organizations and business partners and exchange experience in innovation, digital technology and approaches to sustainable growth that could contribute to the development of Thai businesses.

Key topics under this year's ‘Innovating at Scale’ theme included artificial intelligence (AI), the digital economy, the energy transition and sustainable growth amid global economic challenges.

MTC said it continues to invest in innovation and technology to improve operations and service standards, expand access to funding and support the company's sustainable growth over the long term.

The company will continue to conduct business with sound governance, transparency and social responsibility while strengthening its operations as it works toward becoming an internationally recognized financial services provider.
