MTC Sustainable Thailand Project Supports Northern Beekeepers

Muangthai Capital Public Company Limited and Chiang Mai University’s Science and Technology Park organized workshops for more than 40 northern beekeepers, including smallholders, large-scale farming groups, community enterprises and beekeeping cooperatives.

Participants from upper northern Thailand—an important honey-production region—received knowledge on technology, beekeeping, business financial planning and marketing communications, while building business networks.

The project continued with selection of smallholder farmers for in-depth consultation with Chiang Mai University bee specialists. MTC intended participants to apply the knowledge in practice to improve their businesses and products.
