Refurbished-computer donations to four schools under the I-Tech for Teens project

Muangthai Capital continued its ‘Muangthai Ruam Jai: Sharing Opportunities, Sharing Technology (I-Tech for Teens)’ project, which reflects the company's recognition of the importance of information and communications technology (ICT) in education for children and young people.

Retired computers are refurbished and repaired for appropriate reuse, helping reduce and prevent future electronic waste (e-waste) from the organisation and its long-term effects on ecosystems and the environment. The computers are given to children and young people at schools with limited resources to help reduce inequality, improve education, support learning and expand equitable access to technology in Thai society.

The project most recently donated 33 computers to the following schools:

  1. Soi 5 Sai 2 Sai School, Khok Tum Subdistrict, Mueang Lop Buri District, Lop Buri Province — 10 computers
  2. Ban Tam School, Bo Suak Subdistrict, Mueang Nan District, Nan Province — 5 computers
  3. Ban Bu Makrut School, Tha Rong Subdistrict, Wichian Buri District, Phetchabun Province — 13 computers
  4. Ban Nam Dueat School, Khok Prong Subdistrict, Wichian Buri District, Phetchabun Province — 5 computers

Muangthai Capital hopes the project will contribute to sustainable social and environmental development and help children and young people—the future of the nation—grow into capable adults.
